Southland Football Television Announced for Final Week of Regular Season

Sam Houston State will host Houston Baptist for a noon showdown, while McNeese visits Lamar in a Battle of the Border contest at 3:30 p.m. CT. Abilene Christian closes its regular season Saturday with a non-conference match-up at Mississippi State. That game will be available on SEC Network+ beginning at 6:30 p.m. CT. The Southland Game of the Week will be held on Friday, Nov. 22, as Central Arkansas visits UIW for a 6:30 p.m. contest in San Antonio. FRISCO, Texas – The Southland Conference and its television partners have revealed football game selections and start times for Week 13 contests on Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 21-23.The final Thursday night of the regular season puts the River Bell Classic trophy on the line when Southeastern Louisiana hosts Nicholls for a 6 p.m. kick. The game will be carried regionally by Cox Sports Television, while ESPN+ will simulcast the production outside CST’s territory. Entering the final two weeks of the regular season, there is a four-way tie atop the Southland standings as Central Arkansas, Nicholls, Sam Houston State and Southeastern Louisiana have all compiled a 5-2 mark in league play. McNeese is one game behind at 4-3 and could still claim a share of the conference title.
